A. Reid.\u00a0Lavigne contributed two cover songs to the 2012 Japanese animated film\u00a0<em>One Piece Film: Z<\/em>: \u00ab\u00a0How You Remind Me\u00a0\u00bb (originally by\u00a0Nickelback) and \u00ab\u00a0Bad Reputation\u00a0\u00bb (originally by\u00a0Joan Jett).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lead single from Lavigne&rsquo;s fifth studio album, \u00ab\u00a0Here&rsquo;s to Never Growing Up\u00a0\u00bb (produced by\u00a0Martin Johnson\u00a0of the band\u00a0Boys Like Girls), was released in April 2013\u00a0and reached top 20 positions on the\u00a0<em>Billboard<\/em>\u00a0Hot 100, Australia and the UK. The second single, \u00ab\u00a0Rock n Roll\u00a0\u00bb, was released in August 2013 and the third, \u00ab\u00a0Let Me Go\u00a0\u00bb (featuring Lavigne&rsquo;s then-husband\u00a0Chad Kroeger\u00a0of Nickelback), was released in October 2013. The album, titled\u00a0<em>Avril Lavigne<\/em>, was released in November 2013; in Canada, it was certified gold and received a Juno Award nomination for Pop Album of the Year.\u00a0The fourth single from\u00a0<em>Avril Lavigne<\/em>, \u00ab\u00a0Hello Kitty\u00a0\u00bb, was released in April 2014. The music video sparked controversies over racism claims which Lavigne denied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During mid 2014, Lavigne opened for boy band the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Backstreet_Boys\">Backstreet Boys<\/a>&lsquo;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/In_a_World_Like_This_Tour\">In a World Like This Tour<\/a><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Avril_Lavigne#cite_note-95\">[95]<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;and played at the music festival&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Summer_Sonic\">Summer Sonic<\/a>&nbsp;in Tokyo, Japan.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Avril_Lavigne#cite_note-Billboard-March2014-93\">[93]<\/a><\/sup><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Avril_Lavigne#cite_note-96\">[96]<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;She released a music video for \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Give_You_What_You_Like\">Give You What You Like<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0, the fifth single from her self-titled album on February 10, 2015.
