After recording a demo in 1988,\u00a0the Offspring signed a deal with a small-time label,\u00a0Nemesis Records, for whom they recorded their first full-length album,\u00a0<em>The Offspring<\/em>, in March 1989.\u00a0This album would eventually be re-issued on November 21, 1995, by Holland&rsquo;s own record label, Nitro Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1991, the Offspring signed with\u00a0Epitaph Records\u00a0(home of\u00a0Bad Religion,\u00a0L7,\u00a0NOFX,\u00a0Pennywise\u00a0and other similar bands). Their first release on the label was\u00a0<em>Ignition<\/em>, which was released in 1992. Their last album for that label was 1994&rsquo;s\u00a0<em>Smash<\/em>, which still holds the world record for most sales of an album on an independent label.\u00a0The band then signed with\u00a0Columbia Records\u00a0in 1996 (after\u00a0Brett Gurewitz, owner of Epitaph and guitarist for\u00a0Bad Religion, sold the contract to Columbia, Holland claims)\u00a0for whom they released their next six albums,\u00a0<em>Ixnay on the Hombre<\/em>\u00a0(1997),\u00a0<em>Americana<\/em>\u00a0(1998),\u00a0<em>Conspiracy of One<\/em>\u00a0(2000),\u00a0<em>Splinter<\/em>\u00a0(2003),\u00a0<em>Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace<\/em>\u00a0(2008) and\u00a0<em>Days Go By<\/em>\u00a0(2012). Their most recent album,\u00a0<em>Let The Bad Times Roll<\/em>\u00a0(2021), was the band&rsquo;s first release on\u00a0Concord Records. Holland is one of the two members (along with Noodles) to appear on all of The Offspring&rsquo;s albums, and as of Greg K.&rsquo;s split from the band in November 2018, he is the only remaining original member left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holland sometimes plays the piano during live shows. Occasionally the band plays \u00ab\u00a0Gone Away\u00a0\u00bb, with only Holland playing the song on piano.
