Adler (born January 26, 1976) is an American guitarist in the groove and thrash metal band Lamb of God. William is the younger brother of drummer Chris Adler. Adler joined Lamb of God after its lead guitarist, Abe Spear, left the band. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Willie Adler taught himself how to play the guitar and is known for his unconventional playing style, including dissonant chord shapes, unique timings, distinct rhythms, extensive use of his left pinky finger, wide spreads between the frets and a tight hitting hand. Some of the songs he has written are \u00ab\u00a0Black Label\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a011th Hour\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Blood Junkie\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Hourglass\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Blood of the Scribe\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Beating on Death&rsquo;s Door\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Ashes of the Wake\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Ruin and \u00ab\u00a0Again We Rise\u00a0\u00bb. Adler also co-writes songs with Mark Morton, such as the pre-solo breakdown of \u00ab\u00a0Walk With Me in Hell\u00a0\u00bb, and the entire track \u00ab\u00a0In Your Words\u00a0\u00bb to the end written by Mark Morton.
